A FEW COMMON QUESTIONS

Before you get started.

How do these repair estimates differ from contractor quotes?

The Repair Report provides preliminary cost estimates based on information in your uploaded inspection report. It is not a contractor quote or an on-site evaluation. Actual costs may differ because of local pricing, materials, access, and conditions not described in the report. A qualified contractor should confirm the scope and price of the work.

What types of home inspection reports can I upload?

Upload your home inspection report as a PDF of 25 MB or less and no more than 100 pages. If you have questions about your file, contact help@therepairreport.com before purchasing.

What if an item cannot be priced?

It remains visible as an unpriced item and is excluded from the estimated total. Where a specialist assessment is priced, its allowance covers the assessment—not unknown future repair work.

What if processing cannot finish?

If report processing ultimately fails, we automatically issue a full refund to the original payment method. Your bank determines when it appears. Unpriced items in a completed report do not themselves trigger a refund.

What if I need a corrected copy?

Contact help@therepairreport.com before paying again. Corrected copies of the same inspection are included through support.

Do I need an account?

You can explore the fictional sample without signing up. Create an account to upload an inspection and keep your properties and reports in a private workspace.

Can I share the report?

Download or print either format as a PDF. Review its scope and limitations before sharing. A downloaded copy is outside your workspace’s access controls.
