About these terms
These terms govern use of The Repair Report, operated by THE REPAIR REPORT LLC, based in Massachusetts, USA. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you act for a business or team, you must have authority to act on its behalf. Contact help@therepairreport.com with questions.
What the service provides
The Repair Report helps homebuyers, real estate agents, teams, and home inspectors organize inspection findings, review estimated repair ranges, and prepare reports. It supplements the original inspection. It does not replace an inspection, an on-site professional assessment, a contractor’s quote, or legal advice.
Accounts and access
You must be an adult legally able to enter into this agreement. Provide accurate account information and protect your credentials. You are responsible for your authorized use of the service and for managing access to a workspace you administer. Notify us of suspected unauthorized access. Do not try to access another workspace or account without permission.
Your content
You retain your rights in the documents and information you provide. You authorize us and our service providers to store and process that information as needed to provide the service, including automated document analysis and report preparation. Only upload or share content you are authorized to use. This permission does not give you rights in another person’s inspection, photographs, quotes, or other material. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.
Review findings and estimates
Automated findings and estimates may be incomplete or incorrect. Verify repair scopes, inspection references, assumptions, quantities, estimated ranges, and unpriced items against the original inspection and appropriate professional advice. Estimated amounts are planning ranges, not guaranteed prices, bids, or commitments that a contractor will perform work for those amounts. Unpriced work is excluded from totals. Actual costs can vary with property conditions, access, materials, location, code requirements, and contractor availability.
Sharing and decisions
You are responsible for reviewing a report before sharing or relying on it. Keep relevant assumptions and limitations with any report you share. Do not present an estimated report as an independent inspection or a binding contractor quote. The service does not recommend a negotiation position or make transaction decisions for you.
Acceptable use
Do not upload unlawful content or content you lack permission to use, interfere with service operation, bypass access controls, or misrepresent a report’s source or limitations. Use fictional information in the public demo.
Fees
Any charge for a paid feature must be disclosed before you authorize a purchase. A displayed estimate of repair costs is not a fee charged by The Repair Report. A report purchase costs $50 per inspection and includes summary and detailed PDFs, edits, saved versions, and downloads. Corrected copies of the same inspection are included; contact help@therepairreport.com before paying again so we can arrange access. If report processing ultimately fails, we automatically issue a full refund to the original payment method. Completed reports may contain unpriced items or limitations; these alone do not trigger an automatic refund. Your bank determines when an issued refund appears. These terms do not authorize recurring charges.
Availability and ending use
Features and availability may change, and document processing may pause or fail. Keep copies of original documents and reports you need. You may stop using the service and contact us about account closure. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, protect the service or others, or comply with law. Data requests are handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
Applicable rights and changes
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. We may update these terms and will identify the current version here, with additional notice where required. Contact help@therepairreport.com about questions or concerns.
